Australian Refuse Training
This project is helping to create simulators to train refuse drivers to ensure they have the skills to safely operate refuse vehicles
We recreated a side loader refuse truck complete with cameras, fully functioning grabber arm and compactor. The driver can also switch between driving on the right hand side for normal driving conditions or the left seat for picking up refuse bins. We are adding the ability for the instructor to add smoke to replicate the steps required if the refuse in the truck catches on fire. All warning signs and lettering have been recreated to match the real world vehicle.

With the frontloader Refuse truck, we recreated the entire dump bed and arm, as well as the full sequence of the top panels for opening and closing to replicate how the real machine works. All warning signs and lettering have been recreated to match the real world vehicle.
Wheelie Bins were created to replicate the dimensions and weight of the real bin, including having refuse inside that can be dumped into the refuse truck.

Australian Traffic Management Training

We created the custom bed, attenuator and VMS sign for Australian Traffic Management training. We replicated all the VMS signs and the attenuator so that the operators can be trained on their proper use inside the simulation.
Australian Traffic Management uses a mid size pickup, called the Hilux or UTE, with a custom tray bed to hold road side signs and an arrow board. We recreated the tray bed and arrow board to allow trainees to get an understanding of how to place the vehicle on a road side and use the tools within the bed to guide traffic. All warning signs and lettering have been recreated to match the real world vehicle.
